Current Status

The Google-only Alpha application is online for testing. It accepts owner-supplied ZIP exports and offers maps, speed-based track review, per-pet colors, and visual movement and health summaries. The map supports zoom, pan and fit controls; city-map tiles remain optional. Import results show recorded position counts and explain imports that have no positions to display.

The latest live update improves daily movement and gap explanations and groups dates consistently in UTC. A separate trail-playback update has passed local and independent technical checks, but is not live yet. Existing pet deletion requires a manager and exact-name confirmation; it also removes linked imports, records and shares from the active site and retries private archive cleanup. Backups may retain copies. No real pet has been deleted for release testing.

Live updates pass guarded database backup and restore verification, hosted PHP checks, owner-isolation checks and public security tests. An owner has completed Google registration and a ZIP import; signed-in checks of the existing import and map remain part of user testing. Credentials stay in protected storage outside the public website and source files. This is an early Alpha service: data may be deleted, mangled, scrambled, duplicated, assimilated by the Borg, fed to the pigs, or meet other horrible ends. Keep the original export and an independent backup; do not treat this site as the only copy of your data.
