Which profile suits me?
Why would I need more than one profile?
You might be looking for different things in different situations. The plan is for one verified account to hold a Standard profile for ordinary dating, a Hookup profile for more casual encounters and a Pair profile for two people together. Each could have its own name, pictures and text. People seeing one wouldn't automatically be told about the others.
Could I take a break without losing my chats?
Yes. You could stop a profile from appearing to new people while keeping its conversation history. You could still chat with existing matches, even if neither of you had an active profile. For example, you might want to see where a relationship goes without meeting new people. You couldn't search for new profiles or send new Likes without an active profile. You could also keep a spare version of a profile without showing it to anyone. But only one of those profiles under each type can be active at the same time.
How would a profile for two people work?
Both people would have to agree to appear in it, either could leave, and messages would say which person wrote them. Changing the people in a Pair wouldn't quietly hand old conversations to somebody new.
Could I keep my face photo private?
That's the idea behind Face Private. You could appear in browsing without a clear face photo. Your photo would be shown to a particular person only after you express interest in them, and before contact is finalised. Their Like alone wouldn't reveal it, and it wouldn't unlock your other private pictures.
